ASAP is back!
ASAP - Sweden's largest arena for future sustainability leaders is back. This year with new partners from four important future industries: innovation and digitalisation with Accenture, the green business with the Swedish National Farmers' Association, the forest industry with SCA and the recycling industry with Stena Recycling. New for this year is that ASAP is making a campus tour to meet 400 students at different universities and colleges throughout Sweden.
Johanna is one of four students behind last year's winning proposal "Scania Mundus". The proposal was about combining public transport with recycling of compostable waste in India. Buses would transport passengers, at the same time as they transport waste for biogas production, and passengers who leave their trash on the bus get free transportation.
A Sustainability Acceleration Project (ASAP) is an arena for students, companies, experts and organizations to learn from each other and collaborate to accelerate the transition to a sustainable society. As part of the arena, a campus tour with full-day training for 400 students in sustainability and leadership is conducted. A few students are selected to be certified as Sustainability Leaders of the Future.
ASAP was founded in 2018 by Ecolabelling Sweden, which is responsible for the Swan Ecolabel and the EU Ecolabel, and Sustainergies. ASAP is annually produced in partnership with relevant actors from various industries and sectors. The application for this year opens October 1st.
