Nordic Swan Ecolabelled pleasure

The eco-conscious trend is gaining ground even in "pleasure products". Now there are Nordic Swan Ecolabelled lubricants, massage oil and intimate soap in the Kaerlig series.

"Pleasure products"  have ended up a bit on the side chemically speaking. For the Cosmetics Ordinance does not apply to these kinds of products. However, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel gives you a protection from dangerous chemicals that even the law does not provide. 

In fact,  Nordic Ecolabelling requirements are one step ahead of both the Cosmetics Regulation and EU Chemicals Legislation. This means that even those substances that are not restricted or banned in the EU, are in Nordic Swan Ecolabelled products. For instance substances that are "suspected of endocrine disruption or allergy". This allows you to feel safe using Nordic Swan Ecolabelled lubricants on the most intimate parts of your body.

- We want to make it easy for consumers to make safe choices. You do not need to be a chemist to choose products that take into account both health and environment. This is an area where legislation does not keep pace with rapid development, so here ecolabelling is an effective tool. It is very welcome that Sinful is now in the forefront and launches Nordic Swan Ecolabelled lubricants and massage oil, says Sara Bergman, Sustainability and Criteria Manager, at Ecolabelling Sweden.

  2. Does not contain parabens and other substances, which are suspected of endocrine disruption.
  3. Does not contain MI and other preservatives, which are classified as allergic.

  5. Contains only easily degradable substances. Chemical substances must not be toxic or bioaccumulable, ie. stored or not degraded at all, such as high fluorinated substances (PFAS).
