In most cases 0,3 per cent of the turnover for the product carrying the Nordic Ecolabel is charged annually. However, for services carrying the Nordic Ecolabel as well as for the product group Small houses, apartment buildings and pre-school buildings, different rules apply:

Supermarket grocery stores:

0,05 per cent times the store's turnover is charged annually.
Minimum fee: €1 400 (excl. VAT)
Maximum fee: €4 000 (excl. VAT)
Entire supermarket chains pay a maximum fee of €40 000 annually. However, the minimum fee must not fall short of €1 400 per store.

Hotels:

The license fee is based on the annual accomodation turnover. Please see our hotel portal for more information on how to calculate the license fee.

Restaurants:

Restaurants with a turnover of less than €1,5 million will be charged 0,15 per cent of the turnover.
Should the turnover exceed €1,5 million a fixed annual fee of €1 500 plus 0,05 per cent of the turnover will be charged.
Minimum fee: €1 400.
Maximum fee: €6 500.
A discount on the license fee will be given should the restaurant be located in a Nordic Ecolabelled hotel or youth hostel.

Small houses, apartment buildings and pre-school buildings:

A standard fee, based on the building's total surface is charged along with the application fee. No maximum fee exists for this product group.

Cleaning services:
